Lesson 1: A Review of Educational Technology 1
Content:
This lesson is a review of educational technology 1. It is said that educational technology course paved the way for the learner to become aware, appreciative and to equip to use educational technology tools ranging from traditional to modern educational media. The course also talked about the dangers of dehumanization technology brings in each individual such as pornography that is mostly common for the youths today.
To sum up with, this is all about orienting the learners about the educational technology and enriching teaching and learning process.
Experience:
Since, technology is rampant today, we can’t force other people to use the technology in a proper way or I mean in avoiding those unnecessary things that we could get and experience. Let’s just be what is right.
Reflection:
Technology could be a bane to our society but, it can also be a boon to us. It has a lot of advantages as well as disadvantages.  We could easily manipulate things and be more productive using these new technologies invented.
Application:
As we go on in our day to day life. Technology will be more high techs and maybe more people engage about it. Moreover, as a future teacher, I will make sure that  my learner’s will be engage with this  new technologies  to make them  globally competitive students.

Lesson 2: An Overview: Educational Technology 2

Content:
This lesson gives an overview of Educational Technology 2. Accordingly, Educational technology is concerned with integrating technology into teaching and learning and it focused on introducing, reinforcing, supplementing and extending the knowledge and skills to learners so that they can become exemplary users of educational technology.
However, educational technology2 aims to infuse technology in the student-teachers training, helping them to adapt and meet rapid and continuing technology changes, particularly in the thriving global information and communication technology (ICT) environment.
Experience:
Implementing and using this technology is quite difficult since, there’s an instances that someone could not afford to have one. We do not have enough resources to acquire this new technology but I think there’s always a way.
Reflection:
This lesson could help each individual to enhance their knowledge about the modern technology that we had. And it is a big challenge for us as an education student to implement this new technology to our future students. Let’s meet the rapid and changes of technology.
Application:
New technology are rampant in our society today especially those social networking. It’s already common for some students especially those in rural areas to have a PowerPoint presentation. To make it appealing let’s be innovative, let’s make what is the modern Power Point today that could attract the attention of the learners. However, that’s not the only way to teach and learn about the new technology.

Lesson 3: Educational Technology in the Asia Pacific Region
Content:
This lesson talks about the educational technology in the Asia Pacific Region. Since, high technology are rampant in this generation, technology was adopted by education in the region of Asia. To make the country more progressive they have formulated state policies and strategies to infuse technology in schools. These also examine prevailing ICT policies and strategies of 5 progressive states. Namely, the states of New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hongkong.
Experience:
On the other hand, the Philippines also adopted the educational technology but since, our country does not have enough money to buy apparatus. Using technology in the classroom such as manipulating computer with free WiFi is still vague. It still remains as plan in some places here in Philippines.
Reflection:
The learners in other countries already engage with different high technology in contrast, most of the learners here in Philippines do not know how to manipulate computer. How could the learners manipulate if they did not even allowed using the computer apparatus.
Application:
As a future teacher, we should not let our students left behind. Let’s engage them from any activities that could help them to gain, let us engage them with the new technology.

Mining the net
Content:
This activity entitled Mining the Net. You might asking why it is Mining the  net. Actually, this activity is another way to engage the learners in our new technology. You will be mining the internet. It is about getting or searching web that is online resources so that, when you have something to research about the subject or certain topic you could easily search the content or you could easily gain an information.
Experience:
As one of the doer of this activity, I could say that it is really great, especially in having this in using the PowerPoint Presentation. The new design in power point presentation could attract the attention of the learners. It was really nice and more valuable experience.
Reflection:
The activity was quite hard but it was fulfilling. Since, aside from learning new ways in designing Power Point presentation. The learners could be able to acquire new knowledge and experience. So, this activity could be a very helpful to all of the students.
Application:
Mining the net. It is one way to engage the learners in an educational technology. Therefore, as a aspiring teacher this activity could be helpful to me. It is so useable enough to deal with my learners someday.

Copyright
Content:
This lesson talks about copyright and laws and fair use to guide the educators and the students. Accordingly, copyright is exclusive right to produce or reproduce (copy), to perform in public or to publish an original literary or artistic work. Section 107 and section 106 discuss about the fair use provision of the copyright act. Then, the separate guidelines between the educators and students are also tacked in this chapter.
Experience:
As a student, I already photocopied the whole book and get article from the internet. For some, I already violated the law but since, I did not sell the book and I just photocopied it for educational purposes. Therefore, it just only a fair use.
Reflection:
Violating the law of copyright were rampant today especially getting articles/ information in the internet but since, we cannot monitor every people using the net, we can’t know them. Copyright could help us in some ways it can violate the writers credibility.
Application:
As we go on in our daily life. We could resist to have this copyright. Let’s just make sure to use it fairly to avoid any restriction.

Lesson 4: Concepts on Integrating Technology in Instruction

Content:
When we use computer, it doesn’t mean that technology has already been integrated in instruction. As Pisapia (1994) definition of integrating technology as with teaching means the use of learning technologies to introduce, reinforce, supplement and extend skills. So, as of now, it is a lingering issue on how educational technology is integrated in the teaching learning process through the further studying about this issue. This lesson talks about basic concepts on integrating technology in instruction. Furthermore, this lesson gives some external manifestations of technology integration into instruction such as there’s a change in the way classes are traditionally conducted, the quality of instruction is improved to a higher level in such a way that could not have been achieved which educational technology and etc.
Experience:
Before, my instructors accidentally left her clipped pictures form magazines in their house that suppose to be shown in class that day. what happened was she find wallpapers from her laptop an used projectors  in class. And it resulted good class presentation followed by a discussion. On that moment, my instructors able to integrate technology in instruction and be innovative enough. I found it as a good strategies.
Reflection:
on the other hand, not all teachers master or knew how to manipulate computers. Moreover, in integrating technology in instruction. Much time might be exerted for teachers to learn technology integration and adapt technology instructional integrators. But, I think if the teachers are willing to learn and adapt no need to worry. Anyways, technology integration is developmental and takes a gradual route to mastery and expertise.
Application:
As a future teacher, I may not relate the computer games in education much less to classroom instruction but, I could be learn and adapt the technology instructional integrators in a basic concepts such as engaging my future learners in the technologies discover right now.

Lesson 5: State-of –the-Art ET Application Practices

Content:
Our educators today become more aware and active in adopting state-of-the-Art educational technology practices that can possibly adopt especially those3 progressive state. Actually, as what we observed in our society today the contribution of the computer to pedagogy makes up for good instruction. In short, these new approach and levels of learning require the appropriate use of state-of-the Art instruction with the use of information technology. But, in some aspects there are educators living in peasants economies. So, objections arise regarding with this issue.
Experience:
We can’t deny the fact that there are certain schools who had computer but just put in other side of the room because nothing knows how to manipulate, if not the computer is in the process of “loading” it is to aid maybe the program is still 2003.
Reflection:
Somehow, this new approach led us to have student-centered classroom but as time goes by, we could not handle the mind of the people in using and developing  technologies. So, in some ways it might led to technology-centered classroom.
Application:
Thus, as a future teacher, we should need to know how to balance our time in dealing with the new technologies invented and might be invented. And also teacher should acquire computer skills to the students so that we teacher someday could be a model in integrating educational technology in teaching-learning process. And as a future teacher. We should always remember this saying “Don’t invest in technology hardware/system that may become a white elephant in a few years time.”

Lesson 6: IT Enters a New Learning Environment

Content:
With the new information technology invented,  a new learning environment is also adjusted to be acquainted and to be involve. According, effective teachers best interact with students in innovative learning activities, while integrating technology to teaching-learning process. Further, to be acquainted and learned with the new technology in learning process, the meaningful learning, discovery learning, generative learning and constructivism is most helpful models of school learning.
Experience:
My teacher in my elementary years taught me about the 4 fundamental skills that serves as my reception learning until she let me solve the problem that lead me to discover something and at the same time to make it meaningful learning to me. And now, I could already apply what I taught from the 4 fundamental skills. It is not just simply 1+1 but it is already problem I encounter in my daily lives.
Reflection:
The 4 models of school learning is very helpful in the teaching-learning process especially in integrating technology in it. Aside from that, knowing about this models and new approaches, the learning environment could be effective and conducive.
Application:
Let us all know that there are better ways to learn other than rote learning or memorization and that learning is for use not only in school but in real life. So, let us engage my students in teaching-learning process by the use of different models and strategies.

Lesson 7: IT for Higher Thinking  Skills and Creativity

Content:
This lesson talk about IT higher thinking skills and creativity. Adopting a framework is helpful synthesis of many models thus, to define higher level thinking skills and creativity. The upgrade of Project method was suggested to the teacher for them to have a guidelines to help student achieve higher level thinking skills and creativity. Moreover, the process of project implementation takes the students to the steps, efforts, and experience in project completion. Therefore, the process is more important than the product.
Experience:
In the traditional way, as I had experience in my elementary years, the teaching is more on the teacher who organizes and presents information to the students. So, the session end up with the discussion and assignment. In short the focus is on the product.
Reflection:
It’s not fair, all student should be involve in the teaching-learning process not only the teacher. Focusing on the product is not good. It is because process is more important than products. Since, process  is refers to the thinking/affective/psycho-motor process that occurs on the part of the learner. So, with the methods proposed for use of computer-based technologies as an integral support to higher thinking skills and creativity, students might be globally competitive as well as the teacher. Therefore, it is a big help for all of us.
Application:
It is a new challenge for us as a future teacher that teaching is not just simply achieving learning objectives but to encourage the development of the students who can do more than receive, recall, recite and apply the knowledge they have to acquire.

Lesson 8: Higher Thinking Skills Through IT-Based Projects

Content:
This lesson talk about  Higher Thinking Skills Through IT-Based Projects and it discuss the four types of IT-Based Projects which can effectively be used in order to engage students in activity of a higher plane of thinking. In resource-based projects, the students will be having a chance to find their own facts and information. Accordingly, students themselves should demonstrate higher thinking skills and creativity though such activities searching for information, organizing and synthesizing g ideas, creating presentations and etc.
Experience:
Being in the library and reading some reading materials could help the learners to acquire and enhance this higher thinking skills. Before, I love to scan books and read stories if I read something ‘spicy’ or a phrase/sentence I like, I will write it and use in my writings. Mostly, I will understand it and after memorizing it. And by doing that I already synthesizing.
Reflection:
Now, I realized it as a good practice to acquire higher thinking thinking skills and with the use of the new technologies we can easily use materials and acquire Higher Thinking Skills Through IT-Based Projects. Moreover, in enhancing our mind to think logically.
Application:
As a future teacher, it is  a challenge for us to create learning environment that the student will always be engage. Further, a learning environment that focus on learning inquiry/guest/discovery to make the learner think creatively, critically and logically.
